Dementia Week
Last week (9th-13th) was Dementia Week here at Liverpool Hope University.
Hope is home to a Dementia Centre designed to give support to Students, Staff and the local community about this terrible illness and what help is available.
The charity PSS is based at Hope, trying to raise a new awareness in the academic world about the effect caring for someone with Dementia can have on the lives of Students and Staff. The Centre is also designed to research into the disease and different ways of helpping. Hope strives to become a Dementia friendly University.
During Dementia week members of the PSS Charity and local carers were interviewd so we could learn more about what life is like...
